What we do

Accommodation

We provide homes to the homeless in the urban slums and streets.

Feeding

We feed over 200 school-going children weekly in schools in Kibera..

Clothing

In partnership with homes and well wishers, we clothe the people who pass by our hands by giving them new or partially used clothes so that they look presentable.

Talent Development

For the youth to be all rounded, we also encourage them to realize their talents.

Evangelism

We evangelize the good news of Jesus to Kenyans so as to give them hope in life.

Medical Missions

We organize with counselors and psychologists to talk to the young children in our organization.

About us

Rafiki Homes’ vision was born in the heart of a young man – Victor Otieno, who had been orphaned since childhood. He lived in the Kibera slums for years and studied in the same slum. Having gone through all this hardship, he was able to get out of the slum through the help of friends and other ministries.
He has since gone back to Kibera to shed light in the lives of those who are in the same situation he was. With the drive of his heart for young people, he has started an orphanage for those who are in dire need. He supports them with a roof on top of their heads, clothes on their backs, and food for their bellies.
